my children have inherited my sense of humor

still working on being faithful to this

Life is just so busy, so constant ( & not likely interesting to anyone else), so I haven't been as faithful to this as I could be. Still I'm not giving up.
It was almost exactly 7 days ago that I managed to fall part way down my basement steps and sprained both of my ankles at once. Since I did that I had to miss work on Friday, Saturday, & Sunday. I already had Monday off so my 1st shift back to work was Tuesday. I work as a cashier & customer service specialist so it's an on my feet on the go job. Thankfully, each day I seem to be having a little less pain a little less swelling. (at least having Mon., Weds. & Fri. off has helped)
My youngest child is a licensed driver as of this afternoon. Wow, now except for money & food, they barely need me for anything. I'm happy for him, but it hits me harder how short a time is left before my children are all out on their own & need nothing more from me at all.

so much for posting daily

Well, that hasn't worked out quite as well as I planned; but still, I'm not giving up.
Thank God we've had a turn in the weather in the Midwest. We even had a day in the 70's.
I'm still only working around 33-35 hrs a week, but it freaks me out how worn out it makes me. I'm about to turn 47 & I simply don't have the energy I had in my 20's. I don't know how people who wait until their 30's & 40's to start having children. No way could I keep up with babies or toddlers 24/7 at my age.
I find myself lately praying more & more for my sons & my 'spare' kids. I'm praying that God draws them closer, keeps them from harm, blessing their lives & wrapping them in His love.
